Summary

According to The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter， Witch （the world's only completely accurate book of prophecies， written in 1655， before she exploded）， the world will end on a Saturday。 Next Saturday， in fact。 Just after tea。。。

People have been predicting the end of the world almost from its very beginning， so it's only natural to be sceptical when a new date is set for Judgement Day。 This time though， the armies of Good and Evil really do appear to be massing。 The four Bikers of the Apocalypse are hitting the road。 But both the angels and demons - well， one fast-living demon and a somewhat fussy angel - would quite like the Rapture not to happen。

And someone seems to have misplaced the Antichrist。。。

This book read like a dream。 A dream where you have no idea whats going on， theres a jumble of people you don't recognise and barely anything makes sense。 I spent the majority of this book just massively bewildered， I tried so hard to get to know the characters and connect with them but they were all immensely two dimensional。 The humour was completely lost on me， the language was outdated （r*t**d。。。 really？😷） and honestly the only positive thing I can say about this book is that the concept for This book read like a dream。 A dream where you have no idea whats going on， theres a jumble of people you don't recognise and barely anything makes sense。 I spent the majority of this book just massively bewildered， I tried so hard to get to know the characters and connect with them but they were all immensely two dimensional。 The humour was completely lost on me， the language was outdated （r*t**d。。。 really？😷） and honestly the only positive thing I can say about this book is that the concept for the plot was alright。 I'm going to watch the series and see if thats any better or if it sheds some light onto what this book is actually about because at this rate I feel like I read 400 odd pages of absolute shit 😂 What a monumental waste of time。 。。。more

I absolutely loved this book！ Prachett and Gaiman wrote an amazing， enjoyable， humorous， dark fantasy story where the characters are loveable andthe story is fascinating。 There are a lot of books going around the story of the antichrist but they managed to put together a unique masterpiece。 I became a fan of the dark humour of this book and the fantasy world it is written in。 I always find it fascinating how writers can hide criticism in their books and I think Gaiman is one of the biggest maste I absolutely loved this book！ Prachett and Gaiman wrote an amazing， enjoyable， humorous， dark fantasy story where the characters are loveable andthe story is fascinating。 There are a lot of books going around the story of the antichrist but they managed to put together a unique masterpiece。 I became a fan of the dark humour of this book and the fantasy world it is written in。 I always find it fascinating how writers can hide criticism in their books and I think Gaiman is one of the biggest master in it。 We get criticism on society and religion， but not in the outrageous way。 You can follow where the story is and who that particular part is about。 Footnotes are really fun。 My most favourite part of the book was the portrait of the Four Horsemen。 Never seen them in this kind of way。 。。。more

This book is absolutely fun to read！ A comedic take on the apocalypse certainly provides a unique and amusing premise - especially when it is so well-executed！！The characters stay with you and you find yourself wanting to know more and more about the adventures of Aziraphale and Crowley over the centuries。 The Them’s adventures take you back to childhood when all you needed was your imagination。This book is nothing short of genius。 Highly recommended。。

I’m giving this 4 stars， but it should really be 5 stars based off the excellent use of footnotes alone。 This is one of the wackiest （but also weirdly startlingly wise？？） books I’ve ever read， and it was a lot of fun to just sort of give myself up to the weirdness。 Also， very much worth mentioning， this is SUPERBLY written。 What a stellar team these two made！ I’m still laughing at the extra four “bikers” of the apocalypse bit， ie: “Really Cool People” hahahaha I can’t get over it

That’s right 。 I’ve read that book for two years and I’m still so bored with the book。 I was so fed up with the constant long-windedness that I had to watch the recent TV show。 And I gotta say， I like the show way better than the book。 The plot and concepts are so interesting but the writing style wasn’t for me because it’s too boring。 Yes ， the book is boring。
